Multi-Licence Pricing for Colleges & Institutions
To discuss licensing options, please contact us at: btecbusinessnotes@gmail.com
Colleges and educational institutions purchasing documents for multiple students can benefit from our tiered licensing model. This model uses a marginal pricing structure, where the cost per licence decreases within each quantity band. You will only be charged the discounted rate for the licences within each band. For example, licences 2 to 5 are cheaper than licence 1, and licences 6 to 10 are cheaper again, and so on. This approach ensures fairness and encourages access while respecting the value of our resources.
Individual licences are not available to institutions — the minimum order is 2 licences. This pricing structure is intended for colleges purchasing for groups of students.
Quantity Band | # of Licences in Band | Price per Licence in Band (% of standard price) |
---|---|---|
2–5 | 4 | 80% |
6–10 | 5 | 70% |
11–15 | 5 | 60% |
16–20 | 5 | 55% |
21–25 | 5 | 50% |
26–30 | 5 | 45% |
31+ | 1+ | 40% |
Discount codes cannot be applied to multi-licence purchases, as discounts are already built into the tiered structure.
Worked Example (17 Licences at £10 each)
- Licences 2–5 (4 licences) at 80% = £8.00 each → 4 × £8.00 = £32.00
- Licences 6–10 (5 licences) at 70% = £7.00 each → 5 × £7.00 = £35.00
- Licences 11–15 (5 licences) at 60% = £6.00 each → 5 × £6.00 = £30.00
- Licences 16–17 (2 licences) at 55% = £5.50 each → 2 × £5.50 = £11.00
Total cost: £32.00 + £35.00 + £30.00 + £11.00 = £108.00
Effective price per licence: £108.00 ÷ 17 = £6.35
